Bihar Board 10th exam 2019; 11 examinees expelled on the first day and 45 on the second day

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 26 : Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) class 10 examinations began on February 21. According to the media reports, 11 students were expelled for using unfair means on the very first day of examination by the Bihar Board. On the second day, 45 students were expelled. Amongst the 45 expelled, 4 were impersonating the candidates who were supposed to sit for the exam. Till now, a total of 56 students have been expelled.

As per reports, students who were expelled on the first day were from Madhepura, followed by Gaya and Gopalganj. The 45 students expelled were from 17 districts of the state including Patna, Gaya, Begusarai, Nawada, and Kisanganj, amongst others.

This year over 16 lakhs students are appearing for class 10 matric examination under Bihar Board. First paper was English and the second paper was Social Science. The exams are being held in two shifts, from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm. This year for the first time, candidates got their details such as name, roll number and other details printed on their answer sheets. They were asked to verify the details mentioned in their answer sheets with the OMR sheet.

Result for class 10 will be declared by last week of June 2019. Students will be able to check their result online. Board will issue the original mark sheets few days after the declaration of the online result.
