NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 20: Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) will begin with the class 10 board exams from tomorrow. The first exam is of English subject. The exams will be conducted in two sittings- first from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and second from 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm. Exams of same subject will be conducted in both the sittings. Class 10 board exams will conclude on February 28 with Home Science/ Music/ Dancing and Fine Arts subject.

Here are few pointers to score high in the exam

  • Quickly go through the syllabus. Revise the topics which have already been done. Do not begin studying any new chapter now. It can confuse you.

  • Frisk through the notes made while learning. It’s better to go through them every now and then to memorize them by heart.

  • Do not panic. Take out some time for meditation everyday. It’ll help keep mind fresh.

  • Solve previous years question papers. They’ll give you an idea on the questions that do rounds every year in the exam.

Points to remember for exam day

  • Do not forget to carry your admit card. You won’t be allowed to write paper without it.

  • Reach the exam centre half an hour prior to the beginning of the exam. This will give you time to settle down and brush through your notes.

  • Carry all the stationary you need to write the paper. Do not bring along any mobile phone or gadgets or else they would be confiscated.

  • You will get 15 minutes to go through the question paper before the beginning of the exam.

  • Read the question paper carefully and build a strategy on how to answer it properly.

  • Do not spend too much time on a single question. Go to other questions in case you are unable to recollect the answer. You can come back to it later.

  • Leave 15 minutes at the end to go through the answer sheet and revise it.

This year, around 25 lakh students will appear for Bihar board examinations. Wishing students all the very best for their board exams!
