NEW DELHI: The Bihar School Examination Board will conduct the Bihar Intermediate Exams 2024 from tomorrow onwards. The board said 13.04 lakh candidates will appear for the Bihar Inter board exams 2024 at 1,523 examination centers across the state. The candidates will have to enter the exam centre 30 minutes before the question paper distribution starts.

On the first day of the Bihar Inter board exam 2024, students will appear for biology and philosophy exams in the first shift between 9:30 am to 12:45 pm. A total of 4,62,425 candidates will appear for both these exams. In the second shift, 2 pm to 05:15 pm), 86,691 students will appear for the Economics exam.

A total of 78 examination centers have been set up in Patna district for the examination, where 77,012 students including 36,524 girl students and 40,488 male students will appear.

Students will have to attempt 50% objective questions, in which students will be given 100% additional questions as an option. Candidates will also be given 15 minutes additional time in the examination hall to read the question paper.

The students appearing for the exam will be frisked twice at all the examination centres. They will not be allowed to bring gadgets such as electronic, smart or magnetic watches. The board added no unauthorised persons will be allowed entry within the radius of 200 meters of the examination centre.

The BSEB has also directed all the district officers and superintendents of police to remain on patrol at various examination centers in their district during the exam timings.
