Bihar Judicial Services Prelims and BPSC Mains Revised Dates Announced; Check details here
NEW DELHI: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released 2 notices related to the revised dates of its exam. The notice was released on its official website bpsc.nih.nic.in on June 23, 2020. Both the notice consists of the revised dates of the BPSC mains as well as the BJS Preliminary exam. The first notice consists of the revised dates of the commencement of the BPSC 65th Combined Mains (Written) competitive exam while the second contains revised dates of 31st Bihar Judicial Services (Preliminary) exam. As per the new dates, the BPSC combined competitive mains exam will now be held on August 04, 05 and 07, 2020. On the other hand, the Bihar Judicial Services (BJS) preliminary exam will be conducted on August 09, 2020 (Sunday).
The BJS notification was released by the Commission on March 9, 2020, to fill in 221 vacancies for Civil Judge (Junior Grade). While the BPSC 65th Civil Services notification was released on July 04, 2019, to fill in 434 vacancies. The BPSC Civil Services mains exam was previously scheduled for July 25, 26 and 28 but got postponed.
The exams were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown which followed.
