BITSAT 2020 test city allotment to be announced via email on July 1

NEW DELHI: The concerned authorities of Birla Institute of Science and Technology are going to announce the test cities tomorrow, on July 1 for candidates who are going to appear in BITSAT 2020. The test city allotted shall be accessible through registered email and candidates will have to book the suitable slot for appearing in the exam as per their convenience. Candidates will not be allowed to make any changes in the BITSAT test city so allotted.

How is the BITSAT test city allotted?

While filling the BITSAT application form, candidates were required to fill in the choice of cities in the order of their preference. According to the choice of cities and number of students who opted that city as a preference, candidates will be allotted the exam centre accordingly. There is a chance that the most preferred city for candidates may not be allotted a test centre due to any reason. In such cases, the other cities are considered for allotment.

Can I apply for change in BITSAT test city?

Yes, the authorities shall give the candidates a chance to apply for change in BITSAT test city if they have a genuine explanation. However, accepting or rejecting such requests by candidates is totally in the hands of the authorities.

The authorities shall start the process of slot booking on July 10 and the last date to book slots for BITSAT 2020 is July 16.
