BITSAT 2024 session 2 result out at bitsadmission.com; download scorecard by July 11

NEW DELHI: The Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS) has declared the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) result 2024 for session 2 today, July 4. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam will be able to access and download the BITSAT 2024 result by visiting the official website, bitsadmission.com.

BITSAT 2024 session 2 exam was conducted from June 24 to 28. The BITSAT 2024 exam was conducted online in computer-based mode. The BITSAT 2024 paper was in English medium. The duration of BITSAT 2024 was 3 hours. BITSAT 2024 comprised a total of 130 questions. The BITSAT 2024 exam consisted of four parts. Part 1 included 30 questions on Physics, while Part 2 comprised 30 questions on Chemistry. Part 3 encompassed 10 questions on English proficiency and 20 questions on Logical reasoning. Part 4 contained 40 questions on Maths. Candidates were awarded 3 marks for each correct answer while 1 mark was deducted for each incorrect response.

BITSAT 2024 scorecard available till July 11

Candidates will need login credentials, including their application number, password, and security captcha code, to download the BITSAT 2024 scorecard. Successful candidates will be eligible to participate in the BITSAT 2024 counseling process. Candidates will be able to download the BITSAT 2024 scorecard for session 2 till July 11.

BITSAT 2024 Result Out: Tie breaking policy

In case of a tie, where two or more candidates obtain same scores in the BITSAT 2024 exam, the authorities implement the following tie-breaking policy:

• Candidates with more marks in mathematics, biology will receive a higher rank.
• If a tie persists, candidates with more marks in physics will receive a higher rank.
• If a tie still persists, candidates with more marks in chemistry will receive a higher rank.
• Should a tie persist even after the above steps, the PCB, PCM marks obtained in Class 12 will be utilized to resolve the tie.
