NEW DELHI, MARCH 17: Bank of Baroda is conducting BOB SO online exam today, on March 17 for two hours. The exam is being held for the recruitment of Specialist Officer (SO) for various posts in - Wealth Management - Sales, Operations etc. across 24 exam cities.

Candidates were required to carry BOB SO admit card and one photo identity proof - Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, PAN card, Passport, Driving License and Bank Passbook to the exam centre. The admit card and ID proof of candidates have to bear the same name as that on the admit card of BOB SO 2019. The admit card could be downloaded from the official website -

Also, as per the guidelines, candidates were also not allowed to carry calculator, mobile phone, or any other electronic device inside the examination hall.

BOB SO online exam is being held for four sections – English Language, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Professional Knowledge. The exam is conducted for a total of 120 questions for 200 marks in online mode. For each wrong answer marked by the candidates, 0.25 marks are being deducted whereas no deduction is being done for the unanswered questions.

After the exam, the exam conducting body will declare the result for online exam in March 2019 in online mode. Based on the BOB SO result 2019 for online exam, candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion(GD)/Personal Interview(PI). The admit card and exam dates for GD/PI has not been announced yet.  

The final result of BOB SO will be announced by taking the combined performance of the candidates in the online exam and group discussion/personal interview.

Bank of Baroda conducts BOB SO exam to recruit candidates for the posts of Specialist Officers. For the year 2019-20, the authority has announced as many as 913 SO vacancies.
