BPSC Civil Services 2018 preliminary exam to be held on December 16
NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 12: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will conduct Civil Services preliminary exam on December 16, 2018. The exam will be conducted in only one shift between 12 to 2 pm. The preliminary exam will be held at 808 exam centres across 35 districts of Bihar.

According to the exam pattern, the preliminary exam of BPSC Civil Services comprises 150 objective type questions from General Studies. The exam will be conducted for 2 hours. The questions in the preliminary exam will be asked from topics like General Science, Current Affairs on International and National Events, History of India with emphasis on Bihar’s History, Geography, Indian Polity and Economics, Independence Movement etc.
The admit card of BPSC Civil Services preliminary exam was released on November 28, 2018. Candidates can download the admit card till December 14. To download the admit card, candidates have to login with their username and password. Candidates who will qualify the preliminary exam will have to appear for the mains exam.
The mains exam of BPSC civil services exam will have three papers – General Hindi (compulsory paper), General Studies I, General Studies II and an optional paper. BPSC Civil services mains exam date has not been announced by BPSC yet. For this year, BPSC has released as many as 1465 vacancies for different administrative posts.
