NEW DELHI: Several candidates have faced technical issues in BPSC TRE exam 2023 on the first day. Some aspirants who applied for the Bihar teacher recruitment exam 2023 were also denied entry due to delay caused by errors in admit cards. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) teacher recruitment exam 2023 will be conducted till August 26 to fill 1,70,461 school teacher vacancies.

As per reports, 8 lakh candidates have registered for the BPSC teacher exam 2023. A day before the commencement of the exam, the commission had notified Patna candidates regarding a minor change in the name of the exam centre.

Like previous years, the railway stations were packed with candidates from across the state. Several candidates were also reportedly sleeping on railway platforms as they had to attend the exam scheduled for today.

Students have taken it to the X (formerly Twitter) demanding clarification over biometric attendance. Some of the exam centres did not take biometric attendance. When anxious students approached the exam centre heads, they said, “it's a technical issue, do not panic”. However, several candidates have expressed concern as BPSC has informed about cancellation of candidature if biometric attendance is not marked.

Tagging Atul Prasad, chairman of BPSC, a candidate wrote: “Sir biometric attendance done in all rooms except the room where my exam held at GMSS+2 HIGH SCHOOL,MADHUBANI While asked them about that the principal and biometric head said that it's technical issue do not panic we will ask to BPSC and you will not be marked absent.”

Another candidate was denied entry to exam centre for being 2 minutes late.
