CA IPCC & Intermediate result for May 2019 declared; know how to check

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 23- The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICSI) has declared the CA IPCC and Intermediate 2019 result for May session on August 23. Candidates are able to check their CA IPCC/ Intermediate result in online mode on ICAI website. Another mode to access the result is through email as well as SMS. For official website, candidates have to login with the help of roll number and registration number or PIN to access their result. The result page shows marks obtained by the candidate in each paper, total score obtained in CA IPCC/ Intermediate group (if appeared in group 1 or 2 or both the groups) as well as the total aggregate score.

Steps to check CA IPCC- Intermediate result 2019:

  1. Visit the official website of ICAI at icai.org to open the result page.

  2. Choose the Intermediate or IPCC, as the case may be.

  3. Type in your ICAI roll number and registration number/ pin.

  4. Enter the Captcha code and click on the ‘Check result’ button.

  5. The candidate’s CA IPCC/ Intermediate result will be displayed on the screen.

  6. Print and keep 2-3 copies for future use.

The candidates who wished to receive their CA IPCC/ Intermediate result via email could request for the same from August **. Students are also able to check the result via SMS by composing the following text :

  • For CA IPCC- “CAIPCOLD (space) six digit Intermediate(IPC) roll number”

  • For CA Intermediate- “CAIPCNEW (space) six digit Intermediate roll number”

Then, the candidates are required to send this text to 58888.

Candidates who have scored at least 40% in individual papers and at least 50% in each group separately as well as the overall aggregate are deemed pass in CA IPCC or Intermediate, as the case may be. CA IPCC has 7 papers while CA Intermediate has 8 papers respectively.

The CA IPCC as well as CA Intermediate 2019 result is accompanied with a merit list containing top 50 rank holders. The pass percentage and top three rank holders for both the programmes shall follow.

Candidates who are not satisfied with their results will be given a chance to apply for verification or obtaining certified answer books within the period which shall be announced by ICAI. Candidates who pass the CA IPCC or Intermediate are eligible to register for CA Final course. It may be noted that May 2020 is the last session for CA IPCC after which, CA Intermediate will be the sole examination at that level.
