Calcutta University PG admission 2023 registration ends today; documents required

NEW DELHI: University of Calcutta will close the registration window of postgraduate (PG) admissions 2023 today. Candidates aspiring to pursue PG programmes in Calcutta University can apply on the official website, caluniv.ac.in.
The university will publish the provisional merit list of Calcutta University PG admissions 2023 on October 1 while the first merit list issued on October 3.
The university has reserved 80% of total seats in each programme for students who have completed bachelor degree from CU. All the current year (2023) and the immediately preceding year (2022) honours graduates of CU, including autonomous colleges affiliated to CU will be considered for these seats. The rest 20% of seats in each programme will open for honours graduates of other universities.
CU PG Admission 2023: Documents required
The students will have to submit these documents during the registration process:
- Class 10th mark sheet and certificate
- Class 12th mark sheet and certificate
- Graduation mark sheet and certificate
- Postgraduation mark sheet and certificate
- Migration certificate
- Transfer certificate
- Character certificate
- Category certificate, if applicable
- Income certificate
- Entrance Examination Scorecard
- Domicile certificate (for students residing in West Bengal)
They will also have to upload scanned copies of passport size photograph (50 kb.) and signature (not more than 30 kb). The copies of other documents should not be more than 200 kb. All the documents should be in jpg or jpeg format.

- Visit the official website, caluniv.ac.in
- Go to the registration portal and click on the link
- Fill the application form and upload the required documents
- Pay the registration fee, if any
- Review and submit the form
- Take a print out of the application form for future reference
