Campus Placements: XLRI places all 359 students in two days

NEW DELHI: The XLRI- Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, placed all its students in the batch of 2018-20 over just two days. It had 359 students in its two main postgraduate diploma programmes, in human resource management and business management.

The final recruitment process saw 108 recruiters including 24 new ones. “We are happy to announce that this year’s placement season has once again witnessed remarkable success in spite of the longish economic slowdown,” said Father J Christie, the director.

The median salary offered increased to Rs 23 lakhs per year from Rs 21 lakh in 2019.

There were several offers for positions within India with a salary of Rs 50 lakh per year from the banking, finance and insurance sector (BFSI). Also, 43 percent of the graduation batch received pre-placement offers.
