NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) exam today across various exam centres to recruit candidates for Assistant Commandant (AC) posts in Central Armed Forces under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

The CAPF exam 2021 is being held for the prelims written stage wherein candidates have to appear for 2 papers. The CAPF exam is being conducted in two shifts.

UPSC CAPF 2021 exam begins

  • Candidates who carried the CAPF admit card along with a valid government-issued photo ID were eligible to enter into the exam centre.

  • The guards conducted a safety check of all the aspirants entering the exam centre by doing their thermal check, verifying their documents and matching it with the admit card.

  • Aspirants were seen wearing masks, some even carried hand gloves and face shields.

  • During the security check, candidates were asked to only carry ballpoint pens, hand sanitisers in transparent bottles and a water bottle.

  • There were long queues outside the exam centre where students along with their guardians were waiting for their turn to enter into the exam centre.

  • Those candidates who didn't carry their admit card were refused entry to the exam hall.

  • There were no locker facilities available, so the aspirants handed over their mobile phones and other valuables to their parents or accomplices.

  • Once the candidates got seated inside the exam hall of UPSC CAPF they were given at least 5-10 minutes of time to complete the formalities such as filling their details into the OMR sheet.
