Use NowNEW DELHI - The Indian Institute of Management, Indore is likely to launch the official website for the Common Admission Test 2020 in the first week of August. The same was confirmed by Professor Harshal Lowalekar who was recently appointed as the convener of CAT 2020 exam. In an email interaction Professor Lowalekar confirmed that as of now there is no change in the exam pattern and the CAT exam date will be announced soon. He also reiterated that the CAT exam will be conducted tentatively in the last week of November.

About CAT 2020 Registration and Exam Pattern
The registration process for CAT 2020 will take place in online mode. The eligibility criteria for the same will be specified in the notification as well as in detail in the CAT exam brochure. Hence those applying for CAT exam must check it before they start filling the application form for the CAT exam.
Professor Harshal Lowalekar in an email response had also confirmed that as of now the CAT 2020 exam will be conducted on similar lines as was held in 2019. However, final decision will be taken keeping in view the situation that is caused due to COVID 19.
Every year the entrance exam to the IIMs which is CAT is conducted in computer based mode. Every year there is an increase in the number of people who register as well as appear for the exam. In 2019, more than two lakh forty thousand students had registered for the exam out of which approximately two lakh nine thousand had appeared for the exam.
