NEW DELHI - The Indian Institute of Management, Indore is likely to release the CAT mock test 2020 in online mode on its official website iimcat.ac.in tentatively in the last week of October. CAT 2020 convenner Harshal Lowalekar has stated that in all probability the mock test of CAT 2020 exam will be released either in the last week of October or first week of November

One of the main objectives of providing the mock test for the CAT exam is to acclimatise the candidates with how to navigate between the sections and know how to review the questions.
On the top right hand corner of the CAT mock test, there is a palette of different colours which indicates whether the candidate has answered the questions, left it unanswered or has selected it for review to be answered later on.
Before the commencement of the CAT mock test, a list of instructions will follow which the candidates must adhere to so that they do not face any problem while taking the CAT exam. The aim of these instructions is to ensure that the candidates do not face any problem and are are able to answer the questions smoothly.
While taking the CAT 2020 mock test, there will be a stopwatch on the top right hand corner of the system. This will indicate how much time the candidate has to answer each section. With the change in the exam pattern, the sectional time limit in CAT 2020 has been reduced from 60 minutes to 40 minutes.
