The IIM (IIM) Bangalore will close the Common Admission Test, CAT 2022 registration process today, September 14 at 5 pm. CAT registration started on August 3 at 10 am. Candidates interested in taking the CAT exam 2022 can visit the CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in. and fill the CAT form before closing time. CAT 2022 examination is scheduled to be held on November 27.

Candidates must pay the CAT exam fee in online mode. CAT registration fee will vary for different category candidates. CAT application fee for candidates belonging to reserved category is Rs 1150/, an increase of Rs 50 from last year exam fee. Candidates from general category need to pay Rs 2300. Admit cards for CAT 2022 exam will be issued on October 27 and candidates will be given a chance for correction in the CAT application.

CAT eligibility criteria 2022
Candidates who want to apply for CAT 2022 must meet the following the criteria. Candidates:

Must have completed 10+2+3 qualifications

Have done a degree of at least 3 years
-
Candidates must have scored 50% for general category and 45 % for reserved category

Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for CAT 2022

There is no age bar for appearing in the CAT exam
Essential documents required to fill CAT 2022 application form
Those who are going to apply for CAT 2022 must keep ready with them the following documents/information.

Scanned marksheets of 10th, 12th examinations, bachelor's degree/ master's degree, diploma, others

Work experience documents. Only full time work experience will be counted

Scanned passport size photo within dimension of 1200 pixels x 1200 pixels and signature within the dimensions of 80mm X 35mm. The file format should be JPG/JPEG and size should not be more than 80kb

Registered candidates need to click on login button

Important information will pop up. Read the information carefully before filling the details

Enter required details and click on generate OTP. OTP will be sent to mobile number and email ID provided

Enter OTP and submit to create the login credentials which will sent to your registered mobile number

Now login to fill the CAT application form, upload photo signature

Pay the CAT registration fee. After the fee payment, a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email ID

Common Admission Test, CAT 2022 will be conducted in 150 cities across the country. IIM entrance exam will be held for a duration of 120 minutes and will entail three sections of Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA). There will be a time limit of 40 minutes for each section and negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
