With the Hindi board exam scheduled for tomorrow, students should focus on structured answers, especially in the literature section. Writing precise introductions, quoting key lines from poems or prose, and avoiding unnecessary length can significantly improve scoring potential.

Alongside updates to its unfair means policy, CBSE has redesigned the Class 10 marksheet to support the new system of conducting board exams in two phases.

The revised marksheet will display scores from both examination sessions, along with the final result calculated under the updated evaluation system. It will include separate sections showing marks obtained in each attempt and the overall result, which will be based on the student’s better performance across the two exams.

CBSE has implemented three significant changes for the 2026 academic session to improve evaluation and reduce student stress.

• Two board exams for Class 10: Students will now have the opportunity to appear for the Class 10 board exams twice in a year, allowing them to improve their scores within the same academic session.
• On-screen marking for Class 12: CBSE has introduced on-screen evaluation for Class 12 answer sheets to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in the marking process.
• Class 10 question paper split: The Class 10 question paper format has been revised, with a clearer division of sections to better assess students’ competency, analytical ability, and subject understanding.
