The CBSE through its offline workshop on student's mental health plans on providing psychological solutions to counsellors, teachers to deal effectively with student's issues.

NEW DELHI: Ahead of Class 10, and 12 board examinations, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to organise a workshop on student mental health and well-being for principals, counselors, teachers based out of Delhi-NCR region. The board will host the workshop on February 12, 2025 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Venkateshwar International School in Dwarka, New Delhi.
The workshop aims at providing practical strategies on “how to identify mental health issues and provide necessary psychological support to students effectively,” as per the official notification by CBSE.
Recently, CBSE also informed its affiliated-schools, and other educational institutes about the BSc degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, and also informed about the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE).
To be part of the workshop, participants should reach the venue half an hour before the event starts as participation will be limited and on a first-come, first-served basis, the education board said. Confirmation emails will be sent to the selected participants, it added.
On February 3, CBSE released the admit card for the Class 10, 12 board examinations, which are scheduled to be start from February 15.
Inviting participants to be part of the workshop, CBSE said: “Your active participation is crucial in building a robust support system to protect and nurture our students, ensuring their growth in a secure and positive environment.”
The board also emphasised on providing “immediate and compassionate support for students” in the fast-growing world where emotional and psychological challenges are real. “Psychological First Aid (PFA) and crisis intervention are invaluable tools to help individuals navigate distressing situations, fostering stability and recovery in times of need,” it added.
