NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)successfully concluded the CTET 2024 exam at 4:30 on January 21, 2024. As per the official statistics 26,93526 candidates appeared for the exam today. CBSE began the CTET exam 2024 for paper 1 (Shift 2) at 2 pm. According to the CTET first paper timing, paper 1 was held from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. CBSE concluded the CTET exam 2024 for January session on January 21, 2024. As per the CTET exam timing 2024, paper 2 was held from 9.30 am to 12 noon.
The CTET 2024 January exam was held at 235 exam centres across the country. The CTET January 2024 exam was conducted in offline mode (OMR based) only. The qualifying marks for CTET 2024 exam are 60 percent of the total marks. The CTET exam is conducted for 150 marks, therefore, candidates need to score at least 90 marks in the exam in order to be eligible while for reserved candidates 55%.
