The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon publsih the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2026) answer key on its official website, ctet.nic.in. Candidates can download the provisional CTET answer key PDF by entering their valid application number and date of birth. CTET 2026 answer key updates

The board will also provide a time frame for candidates to challenge the CTET 2026 provisional answer key, and the final answer key will be declared on the basis of objections raised by the candidates.

The objection fee to raise challenges against the CTET 2026 answer key will be Rs 1,000 per challenge. If the challenge is found correct, the fee money will be refunded to the candidate.

As per the marking scheme, one mark will be awarded for each correct answer in CTET 2026. Notably, there will be no negative marking in the eligibility test.

The CBSE conducted the CTET 2026 for candidates seeking job opportunities at Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVs), central government schools, and private schools from Classes 1 to 8.

The CTET 2026 was held from February 7 to 8 for paper 1 (classes 1 to 5) and paper 2 (classes 6 to 8) at centres established across the country. The exam was held in two shifts. The forenoon shift was held from 9:30 am to 12 noon, while shift 2 was conducted from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
