NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the exam dates for the Class 10 and 12 improvement exams 2021 on the official website on August 10. Exams for CBSE Class 10th and 12th students will start on August 25 and end on September 8 and 15, respectively. The CBSE improvement exams 2021 are for the students who are not satisfied with their results.

The board will also conduct the exams for the private, patrachar and second chance compartment candidates for whom the results have not been declared as per the evaluation process. This was because of the non availability of year long assessment details of those students.
Students who wish to appear for the compartment exams 2021 will be able to register on the official website soon. For further details and updates on the compartment exams students can log in to the official website of CBSE- cbse.gov.in.
CBSE Improvement exams 2021 will commence on August 25 and end on September 15. Students who are eligible for the CBSE improvement exams for Class 10 and 12 are listed below.
Students who are not satisfied with their results based on the evaluation policy. The marks scored by students in compartment exams will then be considered.
Students who failed in a particular subject and were placed in the compartment category.
For private, patrachar and second chance compartment category students whose results were not declared.
Students who want to improve their marks in a particular subject. The better of the two marks scored in a subject will be considered.

The compartment exams will be held in compliance with the Covid-19 protocols across designated centres in the country and in foreign countries.
This year, the CBSE board exams were cancelled due to Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore the results were prepared on the basis of an assessment policy. The board announced Class 12 results on July 30 and Class 10 results on August 3.
