Artificial Intelligence is the ability of a computer to perform tasks that are regularly done by people. AI will make the machines to do such tasks with great proficiency. It is one of the most sought-after fields of the future.
As per reports, the CBSE board explored the concept of introducing AI as an elective subject to prepare children for future jobs in Machine Intelligence. The Board has decided to draft AI as an optional subject in the academic syllabus after consultation with stakeholders and the school that is already teaching the subject.
In another decision, CBSE has decided to provide two sets of question papers to students: one easy and another one is standard question paper to test the mathematics skill of the 10th class student. Students can opt for an easy test to avoid mathematics in their further studies, though they can choose Applied Mathematics in class 11 and 12 for their further studies. If a student chooses for easier test and wants to opt for the standard test, then he/she will be able to do so in the month of July. The board will soon release the detailed circular to compile this proposal.
