CBSE Schools may conduct online, offline or innovative re-exams for Classes 9 and 11 students
NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education has released an official notification in regard to the retest of Class 9 and 11 students who are unable to pass the exam. The Board has said that these students must be given an opportunity to appear in the restest.
Therefore, CBSE schools are advised to conduct online/offline/innovative tests for Class 9 and 11 students and give them the opportunity to pass the exams.
Earlier, the Board released notification and told that CBSE will allow retests for those who failed Class 9, 11 exams. But in the recent official notification, CBSE has emphasized that this exemption will be given to all the students for all the subjects even if they have been given this opportunity earlier.
The Board further added that all the CBSE schools are requested to follow this decision without being misled. All the affiliated schools are suggested to conduct the school-based test and promote the students on the basis of this test.
