NEW DELHI: CBSE students are seeking for extension of the last date for college admissions. The last date of college admission in most of the colleges and universities including is August 31, 2020.
Students approached SC through tweets of All India Students Association seeking extension of the last date till the declaration of CBSE compartment results.
Now, students have filed a plea in the Supreme Court (SC) against this and seeking for extension of the last date i.e. August 31, Bar & Bench tweeted.
As of now, CBSE board compartment exams are pending and students who aspire or got compartment in their exams, will left behind and will not be able to apply for admission in these colleges. As per the latest notification of CBSE, the compartment exams will be held, but no schedule is available for these exams.
Students also seeking for cancellation of CBSE compartment exams in this COVID-19 pandemic situation. The tweet further says it is breaching the Right to Equality since CBSE students were exempted from regular board exams.
