CCMT 2019 Application Process likely to commence from April 5

New Delhi, March 25: Centralised Counselling for M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan (CCMT) 2019 is likely to commence from April 5, as per the latest media report. CCMT 2019 is likely to be organised by NIT Rourkela. CCMT is a centralized counselling process for GATE qualified candidates who want to pursue M.Tech in NITs and some other reputed centrally funded technical institutes. Application form for CCMT 2019 will begin in online mode tentatively from April 5.

CCMT offers admission to GATE qualified candidates who have obtained a valid score with an all India rank in any of the 24 specified subject. Candidates with a valid GATE score from either year of  2019, 2018, or 2017 will be eligible for admission through CCMT 2019. Admission procedure through CCMT includes registration, online choice filling, locking of choices and allotment of seats. Students who are allotted a seat will then have to confirm their seat by paying seat acceptance fees.

Students will be required to register themselves for CCMT 2019 in online mode and fill their choices for colleges as per their preference. Seats will be allotted to students in the order of merit as per the seat allotment criteria and rules set up by CCMT 2019.  

GATE 2019 result has already been declared by IIT Madras on March 15 for all the 24 subjects. GATE 2019 scorecard has also been released for all the qualified candidates. GATE 2019 was conducted by IIT Madras on February 2, 3, 9 and 10 across various test centres in India and abroad.
