NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 30: Union Public Service Commision (UPSC) has released the application form of CDS 2020 in online mode on October 30. The application form has been released along with the detailed notification of CDS. There are total 418 vacancies for which recruitment process will take place. As per the notification, CDS I application form 2020 can be filled by eligible candidates till November 19. Along with the filling of the application form, general and OBC candidates must also pay a requisite application fee of Rs 200 in online mode. However, candidates who wish to withdraw their application form can withdraw it from November 26 to December 3, 2019. Candidate must fill the application form in two parts -part I and II. Go through the detailed steps below to fill CDS application form.

Steps to fill CDS Application Form 2020

  • Visit the official website of UPSC -

  • Click on apply online and select UPSC CDS 01/2020

  • Click on registration part 1 and fill all the required details

  • Submit the details and fill details in registration part 2

  • Upload photograph and signature as per the specifications

  • Pay the application fee and print the application form.

Candidates on successfully filing the application form will be issued the admit card in online mode approximately ten days before the scheduled date of examination.

UPSC CDS I 2020 exam is slated to be conducted on February 2, 2020. The test is conducted for the recruitment of candidates as Commissioned Officers in Indian Navy, Army and Air Force. Selected candidates will be trained at their chosen centres out of Indian Military Academy (IMA Dehradun), Indian Naval Academy (INA Ezhimala), Air Force Academy (Hyderabad), and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA Chennai).
