NEW DELHI: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has decided to postpone the CGBSE Class 10 examination 2021 due to the rise in the COVID-19 cases. The Chhattisgarh Board Class 10 exams were scheduled to be held from April 15 to May 1, 2021, which have now been postponed. The new date sheet will be released later.

The board has already conducted the CGBSE Class 10 practical examination from February 10 to March 10, 2021. The Chhattisgarh Board has advised schools to upload the practical examination marks on the boards’ portal by April 15, 2021.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel also took to Twitter and formally announced the decision. He said, “Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, Raipur, has postponed the class 10 examination starting from April 15, 2021. The decision is taken in view of increasing Covid cases and lockdown conditions in many districts.”

As per the official notification, the new date sheet will be announced based on the situation of the coronavirus cases and lockdown. For now, Class 12 examinations are scheduled from May 3 to May 24, 2021.
