NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 26: The application deadline of CMAT 2019 has been extended till December 7, 2018. The original date to submit the application was November 30, 2018. The candidates can pay the application fee online and upload the photograph and signature till December 8, 2018, which was earlier accepted till December 1, 2018. National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) from November 1, 2018.

Applicants have to submit the CMAT application and pay the application fee or upload the photograph and signature till 11.50 PM of the said dates. Apart from the registration or application dates, NTA has not changed any other date of the CMAT 2019 exam.

The application process is completely online. Candidates have to visit the official website of NTA CMAT in order to register and apply for the exam. The application fee is Rs. 1400 for the male candidates and Rs. 700 for female and transgender candidates. The application fee has to be paid through Credit/Debit Card, Netbanking or E-Wallets of various service providers.

CMAT 2019 is a computer-based management entrance test of three hours duration. The test consists of four sections, Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. Each section carries 25 questions. There is four marks for each correct answer and a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.

Approximately 70,000 candidates are expected to appear for the exam. The scores will be accepted by over 1000 B-schools across India. Till last year, CMAT was conducted by AICTE. NTA will be conducting CMAT from 2019 onwards.
