The incident surfaced amid public outrage in Kerala over the brutal assault on a junior nursing student at Government Nursing College, Kottayam.
AKTU Exam Postponed: The university will conduct the second phase of odd semester exams for UG and PG from February 28 to March 22 and the practical exams between February 20 to 27.
"Keeping in view the situation, the Nepal students have been sent to their respective homes. The situation presently remained calm," the KIIT said.
The embassy has remained in contact with the Indian government, the Odisha Chief Minister’s office, and other authorities to ensure support and coordination.
Supporting the students, CPI-ML Liberation MP from Bihar's Karakat, Raja Ram Singh, urged Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) Vice Chancellor Mazhar Asif to withdraw FIRs against students.
JMI blamed individuals and outfits for making the photos and details of suspended students public. It has formed a committee to investigate the matter.
