COMEDK UGET 2024 registration deadline extended to April 8; exam pattern

NEW DELHI: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has extended the registration deadline for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGET) 2024 to April 8. Eligible candidates should fill out the COMEDK UGET 2024 application form through the official website, comedk.org.

As per the schedule, the COMEDK UGET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on May 12 for engineering programmes. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift exam will commence from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The COMEDK UGET 2024 application form correction will be open for five days from April 12 to 16.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1800 to register for the COMEDK UGET 2024. COMEDK 2024 admit card will be issued on May 6, 2024. The final answer key for COMEDK UGET 2024 will be issued on May 21 and the scorecard will be out on May 24.

Candidates should have passed the Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board to be eligible for the COMEDK UGET 2024. Candidates from the general category are required to score a minimum of 45% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM). For candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and other backward classes (OBC) a minimum of 40% is required.

COMEDK UGET 2024: Exam pattern

The COMEDK UGET 2024 exam comprises three subjects including physics, chemistry, and mathematics, each carrying 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The medium of examination will be English only. As per the marking scheme, for each correct answer, one mark will be awarded, with no negative marking for wrong answers. In the event of a tie in the test score, the principle of least negative responses (number of wrong answers) will be utilised to resolve ties.
