NEW DELHI: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will conclude the registration process for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGET) 2024 tomorrow, April 8. The COMEDK UGET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on May 12 in two shifts.

The first shift exam will start from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift will begin from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Eligible candidates who have not applied yet should fill out the COMEDK UGET 2024 application form by visiting the official website, comedk.org.

As per the official schedule, the COMEDK UGET 2024 admit card will be issued on May 6, 2024. The provisional and final answer keys will be published on May 14 and May 21 respectively. COMEDK UGET 2024 test scorecards will be made live on May 24. Candidates who are willing to apply for the COMEDK UGET 2024 exam will be required to pay an amount of Rs 1,800 to register for the exam.

The COMEDK UGET 2024 will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours with a total of 180 questions. The paper will be divided into three sections- maths, physics and chemistry. Candidates will get one mark for every correct answer in the COMEDK 2023 paper. As per the COMEDK exam pattern 2024, no marks will be deducted for wrong answer.

COMEDK UGET 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria for COMEDK UGET 2024 given below.

  • Candidates who have completed the second PUC or Class 12 higher secondary education, or an equivalent examination acknowledged by either the state or central government, are eligible to apply. The last two years of study should include physics, chemistry, and mathematics, with English as a mandatory subject.

  • Candidates from the general category are required to score a minimum of 45% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and other backward classes (OBC) should have scored a minimum of 40%.

  • Diploma candidates are not eligible as there are no lateral entry admissions.
