NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has decided to give another chance to the final year or end semester students appearing in IGNOU Term End Examination (TEE) 2020 in September for UG, PG, PG diploma, diploma and certificate courses. This decision has been taken by the varsity officials looking at the COVID-19 situation. According to the IGNOU officials, if the candidates taking up the TEE 2020 in the first week of September would miss the exam due to the Coronavirus, then they will be given another chance to take the test in December 2020.
A notification by IGNOU reads, "The students who will not be able to appear in the TEE to be held in Sept. 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic will be given an opportunity to appear in the TEE to be held in December 2020. For this purpose, the validity period of registration of those students whose registration ended in June 2020 will be extended till December 2020."

The examination fee, earlier submitted by such candidates, will be adjusted during the time of submitting the examination form for December 2020 TEE.
Furthermore, IGNOU TEE 2020 for intermediate year/semester for Undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and PG diploma, which were to be held in June, have been postponed for December 2020.
Earlier, IGNOU had extended the deadlines for the submission of registration forms, examination forms and assignments till July 31. The university had also announced that it would conduct the TEE 2020 in the first week of September.
