NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 28: Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has declared the result of CSIR UGC NET 2018 for June session on November 28, 2018. Candidates who have appeared for the exam on June 17 can check and download the result PDF file at http://csirhrdg.res.in/. The result is announced in the form of ranks and roll numbers of the qualified candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and determining the eligibility for Lecturership (NET). According to CSIR UGC NET Result 2018 for June session, a total of 7306 candidates have qualified in the exam. Candidates will also be able to check their CSIR UGC NET result marks by entering their roll number date of birth and captcha code in the login window later. However, no separate intimation letter will be sent to the candidates.
The authority has also released the CSIR UGC NET Cut off 2018 for June session for JRF and Lecturership. Two merit lists are separately prepared for JRF NET and NET. Candidates who qualify for JRF NET will also be eligible for Lecturership-NET.
CSIR UGC NET cutoff will be announced after the declaration of the result. The cutoff will be released in two forms - category-wise and subject-wise for Junior Research Fellowship (NET) and Lecturership (NET). Candidates who will secure more than or equal to the cutoff rank will be eligible for Joint CSIR UGC Test for J.R.F And Eligibility For Lecturership (NET). Last year, the minimum qualifying marks for General & OBC category was 33 % and for SC/ST and PwD categories was 25 % for both fellowship and lecturership.
The CSIR UGC NET June 2018 was held in offline mode for 200 marks for subjects such as Life Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Physical Sciences
Last year, around 3973 candidates have qualified the JRF (NET) CSIR, 87 candidates have qualified JRF only; while 1500 candidates have qualified JRF (NET) UGC and 4409 candidates have qualified Lecturership (NET).
The fellowship will be effective January 1, 2019 with a validity of 2 years for joining the fellowship under CSIR. The stipend of a JRF selected through CSIR UGC NET will be Rs.25,000 per month for the first two years. In addition, annually Rs.20,000 per fellow will be provided to the University/Institution.
CSIR has released the notification for CSIR UGC NET 2018 for December session on September 19. The exam is scheduled on Sunday December 16, 2018 for determining the eligibility of Indian Nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (LS). The application form of CSIR UGC NET December 2018 can be filled from September 25 to October 15.
