CSIR-UGC NET 2019 Exam For Assam and Meghalaya to be Conducted on Dec 27, Check Details
NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 27: NTA has released a notice where it has stated that the CSIR-UGC NET 2019 exam for Assam and Meghalaya will be conducted on December 27, 2019. The exam was rescheduled previously due to CAA-NRC protests in those areas. According to the official notice released by NTA, candidates who were scheduled to appear at the examination centres located in the states of Assam (Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar, Sivasagar and Tezpur) and Meghalaya (Shillong), can now appear for the exam on the aforementioned date, at these centres. The shift & timing of exam is mentioned in their admit cards. NTA has released the revised admit card on December 23, 2019 (Monday). Candidates are also informed through their registered Mobile Number and Email ID.

Previously the CSIR-UGC NET exam 2019 was conducted across all states on December 15, 2019. NTA is conducting the CSIR UGC NET exam for the first time and it has switched the format to computer-based mode.
Post completion of the CSIR UGC-NET exam, the authority will release the answer and result. Candidates will get a chance to challenge the wrong question in the provisional answer against a payment of Rs. 1000 per question. The answer keys will be available for two or three days.
NET for CSIR is conducted for Mathematical Science, Chemical Sciences, Life Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science subjects.
