CTET 2018 Admit Card expected by November 22; check how to download

New Delhi, November 20: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the CTET admit card 2018 by November 22 in online mode. Candidates who have successfully submitted CTET application form can download the admit card by using their required credentials - registration number and date of birth. CTET admit card will be available on the official website - https://ctet.nic.in/CMS/Public/Home.aspx. The hard copy of the admit card will not be sent to any candidate by post. The admit card of CTET can be downloaded till the date of examination - December 9, 2018.

 

Candidates will have to bring the printed copy of the admit card along with one photo-identity proof and its xerox to the examination centre. The list of valid photo ID proofs includes Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License and College/University ID card. Without CTET admit card and photo identity card, candidates will not be allowed to enter into the examination centre. Candidates are also advised to carry a Blue/Black ball point pen and two passport size photographs to the exam centre of CTET.

 

After downloading the admit card, candidates must ensure that all the information mentioned on it is correct. In case of any discrepancy, they must contact the exam conducting authority for necessary changes and get all the corrections amended in the CTET admit card. Details like candidates name, roll number, exam date, centre, exam venue, important guidelines will be mentioned in the admit card, etc.

 

As per the guidelines, they should reach the examination hall at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the exam. Also, candidates are not allowed to carry calculator, mobile phone, earplugs, bluetooth device or any other electronic device inside the examination hall.

 

CTET is conducted every year in offline mode for two papers - Paper I (Class I to V) and Paper II (Class VI to VIII) for the aspiring candidates. Those who will qualify CTET 2018 will be given TET Eligibility Certificate and they will be eligible to apply in schools under Central Government, unaided private schools, and schools under the administrative control of Union Territories.
