NEW DELHI, JANUARY 24: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the application form CTET 2020 July Session on their official website ctet.nic.in. Candidates will be able to fill the application form till February 24, 2020. Candidates have to first register themselves by providing contact information after which they can proceed to fill the application form details, upload scanned images of photograph and signature, and pay CTET application fee. Candidates will be able to submit the application fee online till February 27, 2020 (3:00 pm). CTET July exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 5, 2020.

How to Fill CTET Application Form 2020?

Follow the steps mentioned below to fill the application form of CTET 2020 -

Step 1: Go to the official website - ctet.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the CTET 2020 application form link

Step 3: Register yourself by entering personal details, contact details and setting your password

Step 4: Log in with your registered credentials and fill the details asked in the application form

Step 5: Upload scanned documents - photograph and signature

Step 6: Pay the requisite application fee

Step 7: Submit

The Board has shared in an earlier press release that the exam will be conducted in 20 languages in 112 cities spread across the country. The application fee has also been revised this year.

CTET is conducted twice every year to test the eligibility of candidates as teachers of classes I to VIII. There are two papers of CTET - Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I is meant for candidates who wish to become teachers of classes I to V while those who want to teach classes VI to VIII have to take Paper-II. Candidates can also appear for both papers. Candidates who qualify the exam will be issued CTET certificates using which they can apply to teachers in schools across the country. The validity of these certificates is seven years from the date of issuance.
