NEW DELHI: It’s been more than a week since the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was expected to declare the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021 result. Anxious candidates have started demanding clarity on CTET 2021 result date and warned CBSE of starting an online protest.

As per the CBSE official notice, the CTET 2021 result was expected to be announced on February 15, 2022, on the official website ctet.nic.in. However, the CBSE board has neither declared the results nor issued an update till now, which has left students miffed.

The CTET 2021 exam is conducted for the aspirants who want to teach for Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 is for the candidates who wish to become teachers of Classes 6 to 8. This year, the CTET 2021 exam was conducted from December 16 to January 30, 2022. The CTET certificate now has lifetime validity, which was previously 7 years.

CTET 2021 Result: Students demand clarity from CBSE

Several students have urged the CBSE to declare the result or issue an update on CTET result 2021.

A candidate requested CBSE to declare CTET results and said if not announced all candidates will plan for "digital protest".

Another candidate said, "All the government system is busy in the election campaign even the Education Minister is campaigning in UP Election. Who will take care of the student? Please release the CTET Result as soon as possible so that students can prepare for the main exam."

“The result date was 15 Feb, today is 22 Feb, the result of CTET exam has not come yet nor has the answer come from your side that when you will get the result, the candidate is upset and you people are sleeping,” another aspirant said.

"Please declare the result. Otherwise just give one notification when you going to declare it. Its not good to play with students emotion and time. If there is any issue, then. atleast notify. We are really waiting and checking the site day and night," a Twitter user said.

In January 2021, a total of 14,47,551 candidates registered for Paper 2 out of which 11,04,454 candidates appeared and 2,39,201 candidates were declared qualified. The CBSE released the CTET 2021 answer key on February 1. Candidates must note that the board will release the final answer key along with the CTET 2021 result.
