CTET Exam City 2024 (OUT) LIVE: CBSE CTET exam city slip released at ctet.nic.in; admit card updates

CTET December 2024 paper 1 will contain questions on child development and pedagogy, mathematics, environmental studies, language 1 and language 2. 

• The questions on child development and pedagogy will focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years. They will focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.
• The questions in language 1 will focus on the proficiencies related to the medium of instruction.
• The questions in language 2 will focus on the elements of language, communication and comprehension abilities.
• The questions in mathematics and environmental studies will focus on the concepts, problem solving abilities and pedagogical understanding and applications of the subjects.

As per CTET December 2024 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct response. There will not be any negative marking, therefore, no marks will be deducted for wrong answers. 

The validity period of CTET qualifying certificate will be for life time for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take exam for acquiring a CTET certificate. A candidate who has qualified CTET exam may also appear again for improving their score. 

The applicability of CTET December 2024: 

• CTET exam will apply to schools of the central government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of union territories of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.
• CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools. 
• Schools owned and managed by the state government or local bodies and aided schools can consider CTET if the government decides not to conduct the state TET.

In order to qualify the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024, candidates will need to obtain 60% marks or more in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

• Click on the link 'View date & city of CTET Dec-2024"
• Enter application number, date of birth, and security pin
• CTET exam city 2024 will be displayed
• Download the slip and take a print out

CTET December 2024 will be conducted in different languages. Candidates were asked to choose any two options. The list of languages is given below. 

CTET December 2024 will comprise two papers -- paper 1 and paper 2. The CTET question paper will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking. The duration of CTET 2024 exam will be 2.5 hours. Paper 1 for Classes 1 to 5 will consist of 150 MCQs and paper 2 for Classes 6 to 8 will also have 150 questions.

Step 2 - Click on the ‘View Date & City for CTET Dec-2024” link under the ‘Latest news’. 

Step 3 - Now, again click on the CTET pre admit card download link 2024. 

Step 4 - Enter application number, date of birth, and security pin as displayed on the screen.  

Step 5 - CTET exam city allotment slip 2024 will be disclosed. 

Step 6 - Download the CTET pre admit card and take printout for future use. 

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to determine eligibility for teacher recruitment for Classes 1 to 8. There will be two papers of CTET 2024 - paper 1 is held for classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 for classes 6 to 8. 

The CTET exam 2024 will be administered on December 14. However, if there are large number of registered candidates from a particular exam city, the board will be holding the eligibility test on December 15 as well.

Candidates should note that the CTET exam city slip 2024 and CTET admit card 2024 are different. CTET pre-admit card notifies the exam city where the exam centre will be allocated to the applicant. Whereas, CTET hall ticket gives details on exam centre, venue, timing, exam date and personal details.
