NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 exam today, January 21. The CTET 2024 exam will be held offline as a pen and paper test. The CTET exam is conducted to evaluate the eligibility of candidates as primary and upper-primary level teachers. CBSE has allotted more than 200 test cities across the country for the conduction of CTET 2024 exam today.
CTET admit card 2024 is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre. Along with CTET 2024 admit card candidates are required to carry a valid photo ID such as Aadhar card, PAN card, driving licence or passport for verification purpose. Candidates should also bring two passport size photographs with them to the CTET 2024 exam centre.
CTET 2024 exam day guidelines

- Candidates are advised to reach the CTET 2024 exam centre minimum hour to avoid any unexpected delays. Furthermore, candidates should arrange for their transportation and plan their travel beforehand.
- Candidates should not carry any other stationary items except pen.
- Candidates should carry their CTET admit card 2024and valid photo ID to the examination centre. No candidate will be permitted to appear for the CTET exam without their admit card and valid photo identity proof.
- Candidates for the exam must wear face masks and gloves to enter the exam venue.
- CBSE will first completely sanitise the test centre, including all infrastructure. Hand sanitizers will also be put in various locations across the exam venues.
- Along with sanitization, officials at the exam facility will use thermal guns to check the candidates' temperatures before allowing them to enter the exam hall.
- Use of any unfair methods during the CTET exam will lead to disqualification.
- Candidates must adhere to the social distancing standards during the CTET exam 2024. Students must keep a 6 ft gap between each other while entering the CTET 2024 exam hall.
