CTET Application Deadline for 2019 Extended Till March 12; Pay Fee Till March 15

NEW DELHI, MARCH 6: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date of filling the application form of CTET 2019. As per the latest notification released by the authority, candidates can now fill the application form till March 12, 2019 by 5 pm. To fill the application form, candidates must visit the official website of the exam authority - https://ctet.nic.in/CMS/public/home.aspx and click on the application form link.
Candidates must fill CTET application form 2019 with all correct details. Any correction or modification in the application form can now be done from March 25 to April 1, 2019. No further changes in the application will be allowed by the authority after the final submission.
Along with filling the application form, candidates must also pay a prescribed application fee, the date of which has been extended till March 15 (3 pm). Earlier, candidates could fill the application form till March 5 while the application fee could be paid till March 8, 2019.
The final verification of payment made by the candidates can be done till March 19, 2019. After filling the application form and payment of fees, candidates must submit the application form and get a copy of it printed for future references. All those who fill the application form successfully will be issued the admit card two weeks prior to the date of examination.
CTET 2019 exam is slated to be held on July 7, 2019 in offline mode. The exam will be conducted for two papers - paper 1 and 2 in order to determine the eligibility of the candidates as Teachers in classes 1 to 8. Both the papers will be conducted for a total of 150 questions containing 1 mark each. Candidates will be given 2 hours 30 minutes to complete each of the two papers.
