NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 5, 2019: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the application form of CTET on February 5, 2019 in online mode. Aspiring candidates, who wish to take the CTET examination 2019 can now fill the application form till March 5, 2019 (till 5 pm) by visiting the official website -https://ctet.nic.in/CMS/Public/Home.aspx. 

The registration process is available in online mode, thus the application form can not be filled in any other mode. According to the official dates, candidates can pay the application fee till March 8, 2019 (3.30 pm) while the corrections/editing in the application details can be done from March 15 to 20, candidates can check the final application status on March 25, 2019.

Before filling the CTET application form 2019, candidates must check the eligibility criteria set by the authority, in order to avoid rejection at any later stage.

After registration, candidates have to complete three stages to complete the application procedure which include filing up of details, uploading of image and signature, payment of examination fee and print out of confirmation slip. The application fee of CTET for SC and ST category is Rs.350, while General/OBC candidates will have to pay Rs.700 in online/offline mode through Debit/Credit card or e-challan.

Candidates must ensure that they fill the application and pay the fee by or before the deadline, as no extension will be granted to any candidate under any circumstance.

After the application deadline, the authority is expected to release the admit card of CTET 2019 in the last week of June while the exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 7 in offline mode for two papers - paper I and II. The answer key will release tentatively in the fourth week of July while the CTET result is expected to be declared in the first week of August, 2019. Candidates who will qualify in CTET will be issued TET Eligibility Certificate which will be valid for seven years.

CTET is conducted for assessing candidates aptitude and eligibility for the appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII in central government as well as in private schools.
