CTET - NCTE extends validity of pass certificate to life from 7 years
NEW DELHI: The National Council of Teacher Education has taken a big decision regarding the CTET validity of. The CTET passing certificate which was valid for 7 years till now, will now be valid for lifetime. The decision has been taken by NCTE in its 50th General Assembly meeting held on September 29. The decision has come as a welcoming one for all the candidates preparing for the exam as now there is no time limit to their CTET passing certificate.

CTET exam is conducted twice every year by Central Board of Secondary Education in July and December. There are 2 papers in the CTET exam, candidates who clear Paper 1 are eligible for for teacher recruitment in class 1 to 5, on the other hand candidates who will clear Paper 2 will be considered for recruitment in classes 6 to 8.
What’s the latest CTET 2020 exam?
The Central Board of Secondary Education recently cleared air around the uncertainty surrounding the CTET 2020 exam. CBSE tweeted through its official handle stating that the next date of examination will be announced only when the situation is more conducive to conduct the exams.
About CTET exam
The objective of conducting the CTET 2020 exam is to determine the eligibility of the teachers for teaching Classes 1 to 8. Every year more than 25 lakh candidates appear for the CTET 2020 exam.
