NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 18: Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) online application will end today. Candidates who haven’t applied for CTET 2019 yet, can apply now. The CTET application began from August 19 2019, and the online, MCQ based examination is scheduled to be conducted on December 08, 2019. The CTET admit card is expected to be released in the third week of November 2019. Application fee for General & OBC candidates is Rs. 700 for one paper. To apply for both papers, candidates have to pay Rs. 1200. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, Physically disabled category need to pay Rs. 350 for one paper and Rs. 600 for both.

1: Visit the official website of CTET - ctet.nic.in
2: Click on “Apply Online”
3: Fill the application form and write down the Registration No./Application No.
4: Upload the scanned images of your latest photograph and signature
5: Pay CTET 2019 Examination Fee via online modes mentioned
6: Print confirmation page for future reference
CTET exam is qualifying in nature which is necessary for candidates who are seeking a career as a teacher. CTET makes candidates eligible to be appointed as teachers from Class 1st to 8th.
The Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) has assigned the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to conduct the CTET exam. CTET 2019 will be organised in 109 cities across India and over 20 lac students are expected to participate in the exam.
In June 2019, 29.22 lac candidates registered out of which 23.77 lac candidates appeared. 3.52 lac candidates qualified with 2.15 lac candidates qualifying in the paper I and 1.37 lacs in paper II. The examination was held in 114 cities.
