NEW DELHI: After the controversy over the JEE Mains 2025 errors, the Common University Entrance Test - postgraduate (CUET PG 2025) is now under scanner as several aspirants raise concerns over the provisional answer key. Students claimed that there are “wrong and factually questionable” answers.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) uploaded the CUET PG answer key 2025 and response sheet of over 4 lakh candidates on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/, on Tuesday. The CUET PG answer key 2025 is provisional in nature and students will be allowed to challenge the answers by paying Rs 200 per question.
Today, aspirants have taken to social media platforms to express their frustration over “multiple factual inaccuracies and conceptually flawed answers" in the key.
Errors in CUET PG answer key 2025
A candidate who appeared for CUET PG English paper pointed out that the question ID 771865 on alliteration and pun and described it as “completely wrong”.
Echoing the similar sentiments, another candidate claimed that out of the first 8 questions, four were found to be incorrect and said “I am yet to go through the rest”. While another aspirant wrote: “Some options are straightforwardly incorrect”.
“Heard the same about history”, “Same with psychology”, replied students in a similar X post.
“People who appeared for CUET PG English, did y'all match the answer key?I found so many answers outright wrong/ factually questionable in the answer key. Please drop a text here if anyone has appeared for the exam because I want to talk about the questions that could be challenged,” a post on X read.
While the CUET PG answer key challenge 2025 window will remain open till tomorrow, April 24, up to 11 pm, candidates have raised questions about the transparency of the national-level entrance exam. Candidates should note that the CUET PG results 2025 will be declared based on the final answer key.
In a similar incident, when JEE Main 2025 aspirants flagged as many as 9 errors in the answer key, the NTA in a late response asked students “not to draw conclusions” based on the provisional key. It also assured that it has always followed a transparent examination process.
