CUH to Introduce PG Programmes in Yoga, Sanskrit and Tourism Management

NEW DELHI, MARCH 19: The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh shall offer PG programmes in Yoga, Sanskrit and Travel Management from the session 2019-20. With the addition of these three new masters programmes, the numbers of PG programmes to be offered by the University shall reach 29. There will be a student intake of 15 in each of the three additional programmes.

The admission to all the programmes shall be offered through Central University Common Entrance (CUCET)-2019, for which notification has already been issued.

Prof. R.C. Kuhad, Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Haryana hails this academic expansion as a significant milestone in the joining of the University. He observed that these programmes shall be designed in such a way that the students develop employ able skills and professional ethics which are crucial for the bright future of the students.
The Chairman of Central Admission Advisory Committee, Prof. Rajesh Kumar Malik added that these three courses shall be run under the department of Yoga, Sanskrit and Tourism & Hotel management respectively. The aspiring candidates may visit the CUCET-2019 website for details regarding eligibility for admission to these programmes. Prof. Malik also shared that the University has also got the approval of UGC for introducing LLB, M.Sc. (Pharmaceutical Science) and M.A.  Physical Education & Sports and the process of admission shall be initiated after obtaining recognition from the respective professional bodies/councils.
