Delhi Police Constable physical test postponed again due to COVID-19

Delhi Police has postponed the physical endurance and measurement test for the Delhi Police constable post till further notice due to coronavirus pandemic.
NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police has once again postponed the physical endurance (PE) and measurement test (MT) of the Delhi Police Constable exam considering the coronavirus pandemic situation across the country. The physical exam of Delhi Police was earlier deferred on April 19, 2021, and rescheduled to be conducted on May 17, 2021. Now, Delhi Police has again released a notice for Delhi Police Constable physical test postponement on the official website - delhipolice.nic.in.
As per the Delhi Police notice, “The physical endurance and measurement test which was rescheduled to be conducted from May 17 onwards is postponed till further notice. The new dates for PE and MT of Delhi Police Constable will be announced later.” The Delhi Police has taken this decision due to the surge in COVID-19 cases in Delhi. Candidates are advised to keep track of the official website for the new dates.

Delhi Police Constable Selection Procedure
Candidates willing to appear for the Delhi Police Constable exam must check the selection procedure beforehand. As per the selection procedure for the Delhi Police Constable exam, all the candidates (male and female) need to appear for the written examination which is conducted in online mode for the duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes. Those who have qualified in the written exam are required to appear in the physical endurance and measurement test which is qualifying in nature. Students need to fulfil the criteria of physical fitness and measurement to get qualified at this stage.
