Today, the students who have studied hotel management, they are being prepared to get jobs in other sectors also such as banking, real estate, so on and so forth.

During the discussion, the need was felt to create awareness among people about changing the perception with regard to those who pursue hotel management. Puri was of the view that the conventional viewpoint about hotel management is that students will work in the hotel industry, they would be underpaid and would have long hours of work.
