NEW DELHI: As many as 51974 students secured admission in Delhi university by completing the payment on the last date of admission under second list. Delhi University received over fifty thousand payment till 5.00 pm as payment gateway for second cut-off closed today.
The university released the second cut-off on October 9 and admission under the cut-off started on October 11. DU will release the third cut-off tomorrow on its official website du.ac.in for admission to various undergraduate courses, and the admission against the third list will begin at 10 am on October 18. The admission window will remain open until October 21, 11.59 pm. The colleges will complete the approval against the third cut-off list on October 22 by 5.pm and the candidates can make the payment till October 23. The payment has to be made before 5 in the evening against the third cut-off list.

Candidates who were unable to get admission under the first and second DU cut-off 2021 can apply under the third list now. Students who have taken admission against the first and second cut-off list and wish to change courses and colleges can change their choices and take admission against the third cut-off list.
Select DU colleges will announce a special cut-off list depending on the availability of seats after the completion of admission under the third cut off list. Many DU colleges had closed admission to its top courses after the first round of admission.

Delhi University received around 1,18,878 applications for admissions against first and second cut-off lists to its various undergraduate courses. As per the data shared by the University, the colleges approved over ten thousand applications till October 14. Delhi University has nearly 70,000 seats under various courses for which admission began on October 4 under the first cut off list. The first cut off was released on October 1.
