New Delhi, March 14: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the registration process for first round of DU PG 2019 medical counselling on March 15; last date to register for 1st round is March 24. A total of three counselling and seat allotment rounds will be conducted, including a mop-up round. Registration for 2nd round will be open from April 5-9, and for mop-up round from May 13-16.  

The counselling process is for admission to MD, MS, MDS and PG Diploma courses and is open to NEET 2019 qualified candidates only.  

Through DU PG medical 2019 counselling, 50% state quota seats will be filled in the three participating medical colleges of Delhi University - University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), and Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC).

The combined recognized seat intake at the three colleges under 50% DUQ is 166, while the number of permitted seats is 61.

DU PG 2019 Medical Counselling Process

  • Eligible candidates need to get registered online

  • The registration form will have sections like personal, academic, internship, NEET details, MCI/SMC registration, which have to be duly filled.

  • Upon successful registration, the candidate has to next participate in choice filling and locking

  • Based on the choices entered by the candidates and their NEET PG 2019 merit rank, allotment of seats will be made.

  • Candidates who are allotted seats have to complete online registration with Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMSc), Delhi University.

  • The registration cum annual fee is Rs. 15,000 has to be paid and relevant documents have to be uploaded at time of registration, failing which the candidature of the candidate will be rejected.

  • Once registration with FMSc is completed, the candidate needs to report at the allotted college.


Document checklist for counselling

  • Printout of completed DU PG 2019 medical application form

  • Provisional allotment letter

  • Fee receipt of Rs. 15,600. The amount will be adjusted as first university fees

  • NEET PG 2019 admit card

  • Birth certificate

  • NEET PG 2019 result

  • Provisional or pass certificate of MBBS

  • Mark sheets of MBBS 1st, 2nd and final professional examination.

  • 12 months rotatory internship certificate issued by Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC)

  • Caste certificate, if applicable

  • Disability certificate, if applicable

  • Surety bond of Rs. 5,00,000 duly filled and signed by two sureties
