NEW DELHI: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal interacted with the Kendriya Vidyalaya students today on January 18. The minister conducted a webinar on Twitter and Facebook at 12 PM. Students could ask questions to the education minister by tweeting #educationministergoeslive.

In the webinar, he congratulated students for standing strong and facing the pandemic together. Addressing the KV students, he said “the students faced all the challenges and he believes that they will change these challenges into opportunities” for future endeavours.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said in the webinar that, 'We came up with the New Education Policy (NEP) during this pandemic. We are also coming up with the Vocational courses for the students of Class 6 and above.'

Pokhroiyal also said that ‘Cambridge University has sent an email of appreciation to us for praising the National Education Policy.’

When asked what is the best way of achieving success, the education minister said, “You should ask this question to yourself. This will help you prepare for your target in a better way. It will let you know about your shortcomings. Hard work, honesty, self-belief is the key to success”.

Concluding the webinar, Pokhriyal answered the queries of the Kendriya Vidyalaya students. He said that the schools will be opened soon by taking all the precautionary measures.
